Give students targeted practice using the standard algorithm to multiply 2–4 digit whole or decimal numbers by 2-digit whole or decimal numbers.
Each of the 20 digital task cards:
- Presents a multiplication problem requiring the standard algorithm (regrouping occurs frequently).
- Provides a visible workspace and a designated area to record regrouping (tens/hundreds carry work).
- Requires students to place the decimal point correctly in the final answer.
- Includes immediate feedback (Boom format) so students can self-check and learn from mistakes.
To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have an account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins" (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards).
