This is a PDF copy of the journal page that I use with my students when teaching Multiplying Decimals. It is used within my lesson as we discuss how to solve problems.

Included you will find 1 page that is an "open notes" page. I give copies of this page to students who have accommodations, or that benefit from having a copy of the notes. There are spaces to fill in and then they work the examples as well

Second, you will find the page that is "completed". This is what my journal page looks like AFTER the lesson is over and all of the discussion has been had.

I use these as more of a class discussion rather than just having students "copy" material. Feel free to use them however you see fit! :)
