Description

This math center activity is a fun and motivating way for your students get repeated practice of multiplying decimals by whole numbers. To use this activity, students will use the prices found on cute treat price cards to write a multiplication number sentence. Students will then estimate the product, show their work for the multiplication problem, and write the product in the provided column.

This easy-to-prep math center activity is perfect for 4th and 5th grade students to help them practice this important decimal skill. Students can work on this activity as individuals or in small groups. This math center is an engaging way to encourage students to practice multiplying decimals in the context of money. A recording sheet and an answer key are included.
