Description
12 differentiated sets of no frills almost unlimited worksheets for pupils to practice multiplication with decimal numbers using the standard algorithm.
The 12 Sets are as follows:
For Sets 1 to 4 you can choose to print a whole worksheets with a single digit number from 2 to 9, or a mix, to be multiplied by randomly generated :
Set 1: Tens to 1 dp
Set 2: Hundreds to 1 dp
Set 3: Tens to 2 dp
Set 4: Hundreds to 2 dp
You could choose to begin by printing out a worksheet with the 'mix' of multipliers and use the results from this to determine if a student needs support and / or practice with a specific multiplier.
For Sets 5 to 8 randomly generated 2-digit numbers are multiplied by:
Set 5: Tens to 1 dp
Set 6: Hundreds to 1 dp
Set 7: Tens to 2 dp
Set 8: Hundreds to 2 dp
Sets 9 to 12, the multiplicand and multiplier are both decimal numbers as follows:
Set 9: Tens to 1 dp _and_ Units to 1 dp
Set 10: Hundreds to 1 dp _and_ Units to 1 dp
Set 11: Tens to 2 dp _and_ Tens to 1 dp
Set 12: Hundreds to 2 dp _and_ Tens to 1 dp
All the questions have spaces and guidelines drawn in to help pupils place the interim calculations.
For the Worksheets multiplying by a double digit number, the interim lines of calculations are shown on the Answer Page, making it easier and quicker for you to find any errors.
