This resource includes a brief overview with guided notes, six problems for independent practice & 20 task cards! I use these notes in math intervention as their interactive notes. The notes are easy to read and easy to follow for students to use as a reference later on in the year. The answer key is included for all materials.
The resource could be used for either a general or special education classroom.
CCSS: 5.NF.B.4: Apply and extend previous understanding and strategies of multiplication to multiply a fraction or whole number by a fraction. Multiply fractional side lengths to find areas of rectangles, and represent fractional products as rectangular areas.
