Description

Fully Animated PowerPoint Lesson to teach students Step by Step how to multiply fractions via distance learning or in the regular classroom.

In the lesson, students will

  • MULTIPLY Fractions by Whole Numbers
  • MULTIPLY Fractions by Fractions
  • Convert an Improper Fraction
  • Reduce to simplest Form

*Only the last few slides include converting an improper fraction to a mixed number and reducing as needed.

I did this lesson on ZOOM and had students write the problems down and work them out with me. Some of my students don't have printers, so I didn't make a student worksheet to go with it. I then had them do practice problems on ixl.com.
