Description

Included in this set are 30 task cards on multiplying polynomials, a student answer sheet, and an answer key. These multiplying polynomials activity cards are all short answer questions. Students are given two polynomials and asked to simplify. I have found that the easiest way to use these multiplying polynomials activity task cards are to cut out the set and laminate them. That way they last for years!

There are multiple ways I use task cards in my classroom. Sometimes I have students pair up, sometimes I have students work alone, others we play a game I call “Speed Math”. When students work in pairs, I give each student a task card. Students then work together to solve each of the problems. After a certain amount of time (2-3minutes) each group passes their cards to the next group. When I have students work on task cards by themselves, I pass out the task cards, then set a timer so that every 2 minutes students pass their cards. My favorite way to use this particular set is to play “Speed Math”. Directions for this game are at the end of this packet!

***Note: These task cards are part of a Polynomial Task Card Bundle that also includes a set of multiplying binomials, and adding and subtracting polynomials task cards, which can be found here: Polynomial Task Card Bundle it is also a part of my larger Algebra Task Card Bundle which can be found here: Task Card Bundle

I love using task cards with my students because it gets them up and moving but still allows them somewhere to work the problems. Thanks for making great task cards!
