Muscle Contractions Notes and Test Questions covers skeletal muscle structure, the sarcomere, actin, myosin and the sliding filament model for muscle contractions. This resource contains 8 interactive notebook pages and 3 pages of check-in questions you can use to asses prior knowledge or students' understanding at the end of a lesson. It also includes 25 test questions you can use for formal assessment of students at the end of your unit.

The notes found in this resource are part of a larger interactive notebook on the muscular system and the test questions are 25 of over 140 questions in my muscular system test bank questions.

This resource is compatible with Easel Activity, which allows you to assign a digital version to students through Google Classroom. Text boxes have been added for all unlabeled diagrams, activities, and check in questions. You can select which pages to assign to students and add additional text boxes or instructions as needed. Students can highlight text, answer questions, and submit work virtually for assessment or feedback.
