Description

This product includes the following:

Fill in the blank copy of Guided notes and its key. The notes can be easily printed for students or downloadable for any device.

This lesson is from my NC Math 3 Curriculum (in Unit # 4) but could be also used in Algebra 2.

This lesson includes the following concepts:

  • Defining rational equation and walking through the steps in order to solve a rational equation.
  • There are various types of problems in terms of diffculty and ultimately what type of equation get after getting rid of the denominators. The first 4 examples will have linear based equations where includes a special case when variable cancels out and have to factor in the excluded value. The last 4 problems will have quadratic based equations where some problems will have eliminate excluded value and/or have no solution. The last problem ends up being a "pseudo" quadratic equation which students will start to see more of in other units in NC Math 3.
  • Important Note: There is NO rational inequalities with interval notation answer(s) on these notes as that is considered an HONORS TOPIC...please check my Honors Package - Guided Notes that contains ANY/ALL differentiated notes.

This product will be downloaded as a ZIP file which includes:

  • Blank PDF copy which contain 1 page
  • PDF copy of KEY with all blanks and examples filled in (including all detailed work).
