Description
Build number sense for your pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade students with MITTEN MATH. This math center provides an engaging activity for honing subitizing. Students will develop the ability to recognize various number representations from 1 to 20 by sorting the mitten cards. Available in print and digitally on TPT Easel, this product is a great extension activity for any version of THE MITTEN.
CONTENTS
- 100 mitten cards
- 20 white mittens with numerals 1-20
- 40 red, yellow, or orange mittens with representations for 1-10
- 40 blue, green, or purple mittens with representations for 11-20
- 1 label for your storage folder or envelope
- 1 direction placard
- digital version
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
- Use MITTEN MATH in a math center. As your students advance in number recognition, this activity can return to the math center.
- These puzzles can be used for small group, guided math practice.
- Individual students who need additional practice and/or intervention (RTI) can use these sorting cards.
- Incorporate digital learning by assigning this activity on TPT Easel.
- Include this resource in your sub folder.
