Description
Engage NY Math Lessons 1-13 (Topics A-D)- Ordering and Comparing Length Measurements as Numbers. The concepts of longer than and shorter than are taken to a new level of precision by introducing the idea of a length unit. Students then explore the usefulness of measuring with similar units. The module closes with students representing and interpreting data.
Each daily lesson includes the class warm up fluency game, the application problem that the children will enjoy coming up and trying to solve, interactive concept development lesson, copies projected of the problem sets and an ending game to the lesson. I am so happy to share this with all of you. There are many interactive pages to keep your students engaged. I’ve included the teacher guide from the engageny website. All you will need to do is print out the problem sets and exit tickets if you choose to use them.
