These cards are designed to reinforce the mathematics and algorithms required to solve the word problems- not actual word problems.

Students will need a ruler (inches) to answer some questions. Measurement questions ask students to "Measure this length in inches". (Answers will vary: whole inches, halves, and quarters.)

Scoot! gets students up and out of their seats while trying to solve problems against a timer. Task Cards can be used in small group for reteaching/review or incorporated into centers where students can work at their own pace.

Great resource to make the modules more fun. I use the cards as a "scavenger hunt" review before the test. I hide them around the room and the students walk around with the answer sheet on a clipboard.

Stumbled upon these little wonders when I was finishing Module 3. Fell in LOVE with the practicality and thoroughness of these and so did my 3rd graders. I had to go back and buy them for each module. These cards are perfect for building fluency skills and review. They have also helped my students improve speed with answering questions, which is important for the "lovely" state tests looming. Will most definitely be using these for test prep review and for many years to come!
