Description

These Editable Name Practice Pattern Block Mats are so versatile for teachers, homeschoolers and parents! Each mat contains children's names in Pattern Block Font. Help kids work on their Fine Motor Skills by using these mats with pattern blocks to encourage them in identifying letters in their name. Black and White versions of these mats are also provided.

Please read the important information about this file below before you purchase.

PROGRAMS YOU WILL NEED:

- Abobe Reader DC

- WINZIP (or an equivalent program to unzip files)

IMPORTANT:

Please not that you will need to print names that are longer than 7 letters on TWO mats and then cut the edges of the two pages to connect them. I had to create them this way otherwise the names will be too small to be able to use with building blocks. I hope this helps!

What's included:

- 10 Pre- programmed Name Mats (Name letters 5-6) COLOUR

- 10 Pre-programmed Name Mats in black and white

- 10 Pre-programmed Name Mats (Name Letters 6-9) COLOUR

- 10 Pre-programmed Name Mats in black and white.

WHEN YOU NEED MORE MATS:

If you need more mats, do the following: SAVE AS on your desktop and then open the original file and type in your next set of names.

Easy! Please let me know if you have any further questions on how this works: yh.seaofknowledge@gmail.com

I wish the pattern block size could be adjusted to the size of the actual pattern blocks. That would have made the activity a lot easier to complete. My kindergartners were engaged, but quickly frustrated. If I printed them wrong and they can be adjusted to the proper size, please let me know!

I loved the idea of this resource! However, it was difficult for students to use as it prints out too small. The kids can not put the blocks on top of the template because it isn't sized correctly.
