Description
I use this color coding guideline when I teach Narrative Writing. Typically, my students type their drafts in Google Docs, so it is very easy for them to highlight the specific parts. These guidelines would also work for handwritten drafts, but you would need to make sure you have the different colored highlighters available. I like to have my students color code their drafts because it provides a visual representation of strengths and weaknesses, as well as missing parts-both for the students and me!

This is a perfect check for sixth grade students BEFORE they turn in their Narratives. I would like to use it through Google Classroom!
