Description
Packet that goes string by string for each instrument showing where note is on staff, describing which line/space/how many ledger lines it has, and indicating how many fingers that note is played with.
Each page then has two exercises. The first asks students to identify note name, while the second asks students to identify how many fingers that note is played with!
Great for use during playing quizzes to review or introduce new notes!
String order is D, A, G, C/E. Bass corresponds to the notes the rest of the instruments are doing.
***THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE TITLE OF ONE VIOLA PAGE. I am working on fixing this for you, but the original files were wiped off of my old computer. The content is correct but the title is incorrect for the Viola G string page. My apologies.

Thanks for this time saver!
Great resource and a time saver!
Great remediation for 5th grade.
This is a great resource for my beginning strings classes. Thank you!
So helpful, wish I'd thought of it
A great resource for busy orchestra teachers!
This product has been a godsend for me. At my school we separate band, orchestra, and general music students in fifth grade, but once a month I get all of them in my classroom. It's nice to be able to give the orchestra kids something to work on that will help them directly for orchestra and make productive use of their time :)
This will serve as a wonderful quick review of note reading on each individual strings -- great for summer "brain drain"!
