Small packet with one octave scales for beginners. Features D major, G major and C major ascending and descending, as well as the ascending scale in thirds. Violin and Viola scale sheets show half steps to illustrate where fingers touch. Cello scale sheets dictate 2nd/3rd finger to help drive home when to use each. A rhythmic introduction to composition! These worksheets are intended to be used along side teaching rhythm durations, as a way to reinforce durations while driving home the concept of time signatures. The three pages are very similar, with page one limited to only quarter notes and quarter rests, page two adding eighth note pairs, and page three adding half notes.
