Description

Daily Journal Writing - NO PREP.

Daily writing is important in building writing fluency and language skills. Every month you can have your students writing on different topics in this journal. Students can color the cover and staple the journal together to keep all their writing in one place.

**Created for First, Second and Third Grade, but also works for below level 4th graders.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will be able to see the progress of each student starting with limited skills and building as the year progresses. The journals can be used as morning work, in a center, or when students finish their assigned work. These journals are also a great way to show parents the writing progress of their child at conference time.

To start with students draw a picture in the frame at the top and color it. This will motivate many students to put more into their writing. Next they write on the topic.

Included in each monthly packet is:
• A monthly cover
• A picture and writing page and an extra sheet for longer writing if needed
• There are 21 writing topics for each month
