Practicing number bonds through interesting and fun math activities supports students’ efforts with composing and decomposing numbers, which in turn supports their understanding of numerical relationships.
This workbook covers the number bonds for 12 with ten unique and engaging activities. Besides math skills, students will also practice reading skills and fine motor skills such as coloring, and cutting and pasting while completing the activities in their workbook.

3. Matching number bonds to 12 - draw lines connecting numbers that equal the given number.
4. Number bonds to 12 with part part whole models - cut and paste proportional bar models representing number bonds (to support development of number sense).
5. Identifying various ways to make 12 - discern which number sentences equal the given number.
6. Balancing equations to 12 - practice algebraic thinking by determining which value makes the number sentence true.
7. Missing Addends to 12 - find the missing part to complete the number bond diagram.
8. Ten frame matching - identify which number sentence is represented by the 10 frame.
9. Representing numbers bonds to 12 on a number line - create number sentences based on visual models.
10. Number twelve (12) word puzzle - support number word recognition by following the “color code”.
