Description

In this activity students will be Math Detectives and use their knowledge of place value and number sense to read the clues and figure out the mystery number! There are 3 levelled puzzles that increase in difficulty. Once students understand the format of the Number Detective Challenge, they can create their own challenge for their friends to solve.

This is a great activity to reinforce place value concepts and students enjoy the challenge. It can be used for your full class or as a differentiated activity for enrichment students. This activity is ideal for grade 2-3 students.
