This Number Line Activity is a great way to see what your students truly understand about numbers when they are presented in formats other than whole numbers (fractions, decimals, scientific notation, exponents). Many students don’t really understand the value associated with numbers in other formats. This activity is a great way to determine what your students already know and what you need to review.
This Number Line Activity includes 48 flash cards with numbers in various formats. We have included positive and negative numbers, scientific notation, fractions, decimals, whole numbers, and log 10 numbers. You can choose which cards to use to differentiate for your students. Cards are printed 4 to a page. This product also includes an editable quiz that you can use after the activity if you choose.
