Description
This is a number line used for rounding.
I laminated this and students used dry erase markers to write the number in the center box and the before and after numbers in the surrounding boxes. Their answer went into the bottom box.

Great organizer for beginning to learn how to round.
Shows two ways for better understanding.
Great resource to use with a small group or bigger!
Can't wait to use this with my class.
Thanks, using in 3rd.
Super!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for this free resource! This may be just the resource I need to help my 3rd graders grasp the rounding concept.
This was an absolutely awesome find! I'm a first year teacher and the math specialist at my school was asking me where I got it because she wanted to share it with the upper grades (I teach second)! I pointed her to this link from you and she was so thrilled. Thank you so much for making something so simple and sharing it. It worked wonders with my second graders! :)
I also attached a string with a bead from one end to the other. They would put the bead on the number on the line. Then slide it both ways to see which was closer. Hope that helps.
