Description
This is great to have on hand. Print the number grid and have the students use them as a reference when learning how to count, finding number patterns, or adding and subtracting numbers. I have provided a large one for their folders. One can be glued inside of their math notebooks, journals, folders or even laminated onto their desks. They can use it as they do their math homework. I created this product because I found that many of students relied on drawing pictures or counting with their fingers when adding and subtracting. The number grid will give them yet another way to do this especially when the number they are adding or subtracting is large.
I’ve also provided numbers 1-100 along with the number words. My ESL students have found it useful as many of them confuse numbers 15, 50, 16, 60 and other tricky numbers.
Having the words along with the number will help them understand how different these numbers actually are and it will also help them pronounce it better. They can practice reading the numbers when they are finished early or use it for reference for home or at school.
