In this digital self-checking activity, Humans vs Zombies, students will take turns solving questions with rational numbers in order to save humanity or attack. When questions are answered correctly, students take over part of the image. The objective is to end the game with the highest percent of the image. Who will win the Humans or the Zombies…
There are 10 questions with fractions and decimals for students to solve. Please look at the preview to see if the questions are appropriate for your students.
To play against one another, two students share the SAME Google Sheet and take turns answering questions. Students may share a device, or click the “Share” button on the top right corner of the sheet to work on separate devices. The activity will update in real time.
STUDENTS AND TEACHERS DO NOT NEED PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF GOOGLE SHEETS TO PLAY THE GAME. HOWEVER, PLEASE BE SURE TO GIVE STUDENTS A COPY OF THE RESOURCE SO THEY DON’T ACCIDENTALY EDIT YOUR ORIGINAL COPY.
Suggestions for use:
