Students will love getting to work within a budget to plan the field trip - the location, bus plans, lunch and souvenirs. You'll love the enriched math practice they get along the way! Students will practice addition and subtraction while learning to work within a budget. They'll finish the project by writing a letter to the principal to persuade him or her to approve the field trip!

•Reflection Questions: Reflection pages are included. Students will answer questions about what it was like working with a budget and what they might do differently next time.
•Persuade the Principal: Students will answer some questions from the principal about the field trip and write him/her a letter persuading them to approve the trip.
