Description
Have your students apply their understanding of PERCENT problems with these fun activities including mazes, riddles, and a coloring activity.
What is Included:
1. Percent Markup, Discount & Tax COLORING ACTIVITY
Students are prompted to use PERCENT to find thefinal selling price for various items after markups, discounts and/or tax. Students use their solutions to color the picture.
2. Percent of Change MAZE
This is a self-checking worksheet that allows students to practice finding the PERCENT OF CHANGE. Students use their solutions to navigate through the puzzle.
3. Percent of a Number MAZE
This is a self-checking worksheet that allows students to strengthen their PERCENT problem-solving skills by finding the percent of various numbers. Students use their solutions to navigate through the puzzle.
4. Percent RIDDLE
Students find the PART, WHOLE and PERCENT. The answers are used to solve the riddle. This activity is perfect for students to practice using the PERCENT PROPORTION or PERCENT EQUATION.
5. Simple Interest RIDDLE
Students solve SIMPLE INTEREST problems and use their answers to solve the riddle.
All 5 of these activities allow students to practice solving PERCENT problems while incorporating fun into the classroom!
How to Use:
Use any of these resources as a quick assessment tool, a homework assignment, or even something for the kids to do after a test. Be sure to download the sample for a full overview of what you get.
