Description

Students use place value skills to match word form and standard form while playing Dominoes. Place value Dominoes is an exciting way for students to learn, practice, and review word form and standard form. The standard form numbers range from the whole number place to the thousandths place. Some of the matching sets can be challenging to compare. For example, 1,000 = one thousand compared to 0.001 = one thousandths. While a few may be as simple as 3 = three. Nine of the 48 Domino sets are whole numbers and the remaining 39 are decimals.

  • Answer Keys show how each Domino flows from one to the other.
  • The game can be played individually, in pairs, or as a team.
  • There are 48 Dominoes.
  • Print on Cardstock Paper and laminate for durability.
  • Makes a great center activity
  • Compare word and standard forms.
