Description

These tasks work perfectly to assess, build and progress monitor pre-vocational skills. Allow your students to build independence with these templates by preparing them for future job opportunities. Assist students with fostering their pre-vocational skills, one-to-one correspondence skills, executive functioning skills, interpreting and following written directions and strengthening their fine motor skills.

Use these templates to teach your students to fulfill stock orders, package items together and to follow written or visual directions in order to complete a task. These can be monitored within a one-to-one setting with a student, utilized during independent work times, during centers and across other skill area/school times of the day (such as occupational therapy, transition, etc.). There are four types for these packaging templates, This second set of templates comes with 10 total templates but there are four types of each template that go from maximum visual supports to minimal support.

You can use prompting in order to fade to independence with these templates. Based on the prompting hierarchy, you can provide the maximum amount of support by using the type one and/or type two templates and then have your student work their way up to the fourth template (or bonus 5th template with printing suggestions within the resource), There are also pictures and more detail included within the product, but you can get a brief description below.

  • Type one: Full-page visuals only template for your students that need the most support in order to build familiarity with the task, packaging routine and to further develop with their one-to-one correspondence skills.
  • Type two: Move onto this template when you feel your student can handle the more structured approach, but with supports still provided visually.
  • Type three: Next, you can move to the template with less visual supports. This template has a bolded number to remind the student of the quantity and one small visual next to each section of the template to remind the student which item he or she needs to find and/or match to the template.
  • Type four: The final template can be seen as more of a to-do list/written directions without any visual supports. (Printing tips for the smaller sizes to serve as a fifth type within the resource)
