Freebie – Pattern Blocks – Seasons – Summer – Preview

Pattern blocks are perfect for STEM / STEAM bins, maker stations, centers, morning work, and early finishers. They are low prep and provide hands-on opportunities for students.

The tasks are available in easy, intermediate, and advance options. They also come in color and blackline copies. I would recommend printing on cardstock and laminating the cards so they can be reused.

While some colors suggestions are provided, students may use their creativity to use any colors or shapes on the templates. Students can also use any colors that you may have available.

Pattern blocks can be used to incorporate math concepts into your classroom such as shapes, rotation, reflection, patterns, classification, position, congruence, and symmetry.
