Description
Product Information:
This is a math unit to teach patterns consisting of 4 printable activities:
1. Pattern Sorting Mat: This is a printable center activity where the students get strips containing either a non-pattern, an ABAB pattern, or an ABCABC pattern to sort on a mat.
2. Sticker Patterns: This is a printable worksheet where students create patterns out of stickers, corresponding with different types (ABCABC, ABAB, AAB, etc).
3. Pattern Snake Labels: This is a label I use for a pattern snake project. Students use pattern blocks die cuts to make a “snake” out of patterns. The label is for students to write the letters (ABAB, ABCABC) for their pattern.
4. Pattern Detective: This is used as an introduction to patterning. It is a printable worksheet for kids to use to find patterns around their classroom and school.
