This worksheet is great for practicing percents in word problems. This worksheet gives a full step-by-step example for each of the three types of percent problems and three full pages of practice problems based on the three examples.

STORY:
Percents are such a complicated topic for students, especially when approached from a non-conceptual, procedure-based pedagogical strategy. For my students, I worked specifically to make connections between percents, fractions, decimals and ratios. But we still needed a little practice after our percent unit, so I created this worksheet and completed a few problems each day with students. However, it can easily be done independently with the full page of instructions included.
