Having good, interesting examples for my students to work with is important to me. Writing problems on the white board gets boring for both teacher AND kids...that's why I made this power point. It's colorful, has pictures and takes the student step by step through placing the parts and solving the percent proportions. Win, Win!

There is A LOT of color on this product but please know that you can also get it to be black and white or gray scale by simply selecting that option when you go to print. My students LOVED this resource! They were struggling to set up percent proportions with % change. This resource allowed the students to have support in their working groups in the event they were unable to make any headway with the problem! All my students were working on whiteboards, as I presented this on my Promethean board and ALL were EXTREMELY engaged!
