This Google Form helps you check in with your students to see where they are in the writing process.
Students are asked to check off what components they have completed in their stories.
The components listed are essential to a complete personal narrative story. The form is editable, so you will be able to add components you have additionally covered or take away items that you did not cover.
The form also promotes student accountability, as they can check and visually see where they are in the writing process and what elements they have/have not included.
There is also a section where students select if they are or are not finished with their story and if they need help you.
I teach over 60 students 5th grade ELA and this has streamlined my conferencing.
