Description

Lesson Notes!

There are 40 task cards included! These task cards are meant for 3rd-4th grade students. These problems are all about area and perimeter. This set is great for EOG test prep for area and perimeter. A recording sheet and answer key included for easy grading!

Students are tasked with the following:

  • Solving area and perimeter word problems
  • Finding the area or perimeter of a square or rectangle.
  • Finding the perimeter of a variety of shapes.
  • Finding the value of the of missing sides given a dimension & the area or perimeter.

You can cut and laminate cards for long term use. This can be used for small group intervention or whole group activity! I like to make it extra fun by playing an escape room timer for an hour and dimming lights, and spread the task cards around the room (some hidden) so it can be a makeshift escape room- students escape by competing all cards. Answer sheets for students and answer key for the teacher are included!
