Description

Want a timer in your power point?
I love using power point in my class, but switching applications to a timer, or worse to the document camera to show a physical timer is a royal pain - so I made these.

Here are timers for 10,9,8,7,6, and 5 minutes!
Instructions for how to embed the timer in other slides are included, or just put the whole slide into the power point where you want a timer.

Each timer is a stack of curve-cornered rectangles, which disappear to show how much time is left.

There are versions with sound and no sound options for each timer.
The sound effects are a chime sound when it starts and an explosion every time the timer counts down after that.

The timer reads -
"Get ready!" (then you click to start the timer)
"You have X minutes"
"Go!" (A chime sound plays)
and then it begins to count down, showing every minute, plus at the 30,20, and 10 second marks.

Slides are in standard dimensions, but should work fine when pasted into wide screen presentations.

This was a good resource, but I didn't use it. I ran out of time before my presentation to play with the timer. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it again.
