Description
The ACT is taken by a lot of high school juniors across the country. I worked as an ACT tutor for a few years and saw just how much student's scores can increase with just a little bit of exposure and test prep.
I created this to use with my juniors on extra days throughout the year (the day before a break, an assembly day that is too short for the lesson, etc.). We completed this over a few days, but it could be done in a 90 minute block period if you really stick to the timers.
This is everything you need to work through an entire practice ACT with your students! This would also be a great resource for an ACT prep course, an ACT tutor, or just a student who wants more practice!
Included in this resource is a google slides presentation with an entire practice test of questions (1 per slide) each with a 60 second timer for students to keep track of their pacing. (I did not create the questions, I used a released ACT test so they model the actual test.)
Also included is a google sheet where you can put your student's names and keep track of who gets questions correct--this google sheet will auto calculate the student's RAW and SCALED scores for you! (It also includes the correct answers for your reference.)
I created multiple choice cards students would all hold up during our practice activity, these cards are also included with instructions for printing.
I also included the original test as released by the ACT. I had a few students absent during these days and I printed the pages we went over for them to complete on their own.
