Description
Students practice inserting parentheses into equations to make them true. Equations feature multiple operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Some equations are an expression set equal to a single number. Some equations have expressions on both sides of the equation. Students are also asked to tell if given equations and inequalities featuring the use of parentheses are true or false. Some problems do not have an equals sign or inequality symbol, so students must note that they cannot tell if the equation is true or false.
