Description

This worksheet uses the graphing calculator and is a discovery lesson detailing the properties of the graphs of exponential and logarithmic functions. It is divided into two sections so that it can be done during two class periods. The last page asks the student to make comparisons between the graphs and the properties of the two functions, leading to the inverse property between the two.
This activity lends itself easily to collaborative learning and that is encouraged. Students are also encouraged to write their responses using complete sentences and correct terminology. Good for students in both high school mathematics and College Algebra.
