Description

In this Boom Card deck, students will practice identifying problems, determining possible causes, and finding resolutions to the problem (resolving problems). All this...in the context of a fun millionaire game to keep your student motivated! There are lots of opportunities for addressing problem-solving skills in this deck.

To proceed to each "next step" in the game, the student must:

1) Identify the problem in the given scenario.

2) Describe WHY this is a problem.

3) Identify a possible solution.

4) From a multiple choice set of 4, identify which solution is NOT a good solution.

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards).
