Incorporating Reciprocal Math Teams into your weekly mathematics lesson plan is a research-based process is intended to get students thinking about, problem solving, and comprehending complex, multi-step problems. Remember, it is okay for students to struggle. We all struggle with life’s problems and therefore this is good preparation for real life!

This packet of research-based activities can be used with any type of word problem and in any grade from 3rd through 9th. This type of learning serves as a gateway for students to use real world thinking and skills as they: investigate, organize thinking, report findings, and share what they have discovered.
