Using the Problem Solving Wheel provides teachers a tool for students to develop these independent problem-solving skills. We use this all the time during social skills activities.

I can not wait to use this resource to teach my students how they can effectively solve problems.
This is a very helpful tool to help students realize that they are in control and able to solve their own problems when they calm down and think about possible strategies. The school I work in uses this wheel as the first step before having a student go to an adult when the problem is small. The visuals and the words are very clear and helpful for the students to remember.

This resource was very helpful while teaching social skills. It helped students talk through different situations that they might face with their peers. I also used the wheel when reteaching needed to be done or when the students needed reminders.
