Integrating Technology and Engineering in a Math classroom is an ideal lesson plan for a STEM school. This project requires students to create a math lab for their school by designing the room, making technology purchases, buying math related materials, preparing cost analysis graphs using Excel, writing persuasive letters, and creating a movie advertisement to sell their math lab. It is a great way to involve the community by inviting in guest speakers. My students worked on this project one day per week for approximately 3 quarters.
