Description
This Party Planner project based learning unit gives your students an opportunity to plan and host a party. Students are given a budget to decide on decorations, food, number of guests, and activities. The student challenge is to stay within their budget. This student-centered PBL unit incorporates collaboration and differentiation by giving student choice.
This real-world challenge requires students to use inquiry, critical thinking, and their creative minds during the high-interest cross-curricular [math, ELA, technology] activities. Students integrate digital learning into the project.
This PBL unit incorporates 21st Century skills with challenging, engaging, and creative activities. Lots of opportunities for differentiation.

TEACHERS LIKE YOU HAVE SAID...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I used this with my 4th grade students. They loved it. The idea of planning their own party really got them engaged. I even added on to the idea by having them use circulars from stores to find additional prices and to work in more decimals.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My students LOVE a good PBL (and so do I)! Not only does it help pull together content from across subjects, but it offers students a chance to use the 4 C's: creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication. Thank you for putting together such a great learning experience!”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My students absolutely LOVED planning their own birthday party from the invitations to designing their own birthday cake! I also love the fact that they have to plan according to a specific budget.”
