This is a project that is used throughout the Renaissance & Reformation unit. The project description and rubric allow the students a chance to interpret their understanding and skills through creativity with a short written description. This rubric and expectation is easy to differentiate for your learners that need altered expectations. I have cut the assignment in half and only required one drawing. I have also provided images that students can use while creating their best interpretation. Overall, this is a mastery activity that provides the students a change be a Leonardo DaVinci and create a piece of art while learning about the time period.
