Description

PUNCTUATION LEARNING STATIONS: Use these punctuation learning stations to teach, reinforce or review the usage rules for: apostrophes, commas, semi-colons, colons, exclamation and quotation marks, forward slashes, ellipses, round and square brackets, hyphens and dashes, and the asterisk. (This is available in my Grammar Stations Bundle.)

The punctuation stations are such that you can use all of them, or just the ones that you are working on. Each station comes with a set of instructions on the usage of the punctuation mark, as well as task cards that tell students what they need to do on their task sheets.

These stations do not have students correct sentences with errors in them; instead, the sheets provide mentor sentences and then ask students to write original sentences that demonstrate their understanding of the rule.

Note- these will go really well with my Punctuation Mini-Lessons.

This resource includes:

✅ Table toppers for your learning stations

✅ Task cards for the learning stations. Each learning station asks students to complete one or more tasks that will demonstrate their understanding of the punctuation rules for apostrophes, commas, semi-colons, colons, exclamation and quotation marks, forward slashes, ellipses, round and square brackets, hyphens and dashes, and the asterisk.

✅ Editable task cards

The stations are mostly note-taking places, but I appreciated the rules and examples for each type of punctuation. Each student made a poster for an assigned punctuation mark, which was a great way to end this mini-unit. Thank you.
