Description

This 24-slide "Power of Punctuation" presentation will entertain your students and inspire them to take care with their punctuation marks. Using humorous examples and interactive slides/handout, your class will learn the striking difference in meaning that can occur with one misplaced comma. Examples are sure to fire up your high school and middle school students – expect giggles and outrage.

Package also includes a one-page handout (both printable PDF & Google Drive versions) to allow students to edit a passage, creating very different meanings depending on their punctuation choices.

NOTE: This item is also included in my English 9-10 full-year curriculum. If you already own the full-year download, please do not purchase this item here individually. If you’d like to receive this item plus everything else needed to teach 180 days of English 9 or English 10 at a deeply discounted price, click here to learn more about the full-year curriculum download.
