This Puzzle & Fun Fact Activity is part of:

2017 Google Interactive Membership {GROWING BUNDLE} - Current & Future Products

This ❤ Google Interactive Activity ❤ is an engaging practice of identifying the "Condensing Logarithms" . This is a BLENDED Activity as a HARD COPY of the activity is included in this product. This products has 12 questions. I strongly encourage you to see the "SHORT VIDEO" that I've attached in the preview. I hope that you find it beneficial.

In this activity students are provided with an expression and are asked to condense it using properties of logarithms. No answer is to be used twice.

This activity is self-checking. At the end of the activity, students would have found 12 groups of letters. Students would need to place these letters side by side and then "add spaces" as needed to produce a "FUN FACT". The "FUN FACT" will only happen if student picks the right puzzle piece.

My students appreciated this type of activity as it allowed them to be independent and find their "own mistakes" before seeking any help.

The questions of this puzzle match activity will assess the following concepts:

☑ Product Property of Logarithms

☑ Quotient Property of Logarithms

☑ Power Property of Logarithms

☑ Condensing Logarithms

★ Students would have to rewrite a given expression using the properties listed above. (Example: logx + logy = logxy)

In this activity students will be using Google Slides. Some students used their computers, some used their phones, while others used their IPADs. As long as there is a Google Drive there is a way.

The answer key is included in the file. I usually share it when all assignments are turned in "Electronically"

I use Algebra II Common Core Pearson Textbook. This activity works very well with Section 7.4: Properties of Logarithms

Great my friend. My students love the FUN FACT aspect of these google activities. I hope that your students enjoyed that part as well. Please email me {prodcuts@nevergiveuponmath.com} if you're done with condensing and expanding as I have another product (not released yet) that I would like to give to your students as a gift. This product has 2 "simpler" activities on condensing and expanding (basic review). My kids liked it and I'm sure yours will love it as well. Thank you again Cynthia for your wonderful feedback. I appreciate your support. I wish you and your students the very best from the bottom of my heart and ☆ Happy Teaching ☆
