Description

This Introduction covers all the basics of the Pythagorean Theorem. It addresses the right triangle, identification of the parts of a right triangle, the theorem both in words, as an equation, and graphically. The theorem is broken down into parts and describes in detail what the theorem states. All of the basics are touched on including right triangles, labeling of the triangle (a,b,c), figuring out how to determine the legs versus the hypotenuse, proving right triangles and solving for the hypotenuse. This presentation only uses Pythagorean Triples and touches lightly on the concept.

This presentation provides for every type of learner. It's repeats the Pythagorean Theorem multiple times and in multiple ways to catch each and every student. It's colorful and animated, helping to drive home the idea in a way that is fun as well as educational. This presentation is designed to get the students to think about what is being presented. This presentation includes presenter notes and possible questions to ask the students throughout. I've tried to cover all the essentials on the Powerpoint and within the notes.

It's now in a BUNDLE!

Thank you so much! So happy this works for you and your students! All the best! By the way, I have a free resource that shows Pythagorean theorem in motion. It’s super short but I think it’s a very effective visual. It’s in the upper right hand link in my store. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Pythagorean-Theorem-Animated-Illustration-1444488
