Description
Pythagorean Theorem Practice | Walk Around Activity Task Cards
Suitable for 8th grade and high school math standards, this is a set of 18 problems to practice the Pythagorean Theorem. They are formatted in task cards that lead from one to another to offer a movement option for your students as they practice. This set includes practice finding the missing side lengths of two and three dimensional figures as well as the distance between coordinate points.
How I use them:
This is an activity I use a ton in my 8th grade and Algebra classes with different concepts. Simply print out the posters (laminate if desired) and place around the room. Students can start at any card, or the teacher can assign a starting point. Students use the provided answer sheet to show their work. When the answer has been found, students find the card with that solution and go on to solve the next problem.
What's included:
The PDF includes a two-page page student answer sheet, 18 color posters, and answer key. Posters come in the correct order that students should follow.
