Welcome! In this lesson, you'll be teaching what basic data types are and how to use them in python! The lesson is perfect for ALL grade levels! The presentation is ready to teach and comes with built-in nearpod activities to help you achieve 100% participation. Nearpod activities include matching, fillings, a quiz, and open-ended questions.

You will be assessing your students at multiple points throughout the lesson - using nearpod! The lesson can be used without nearpod, though you will have to modify some of the questions (since nearpod allows you to build questions into your lesson).
Help students build upon the fundamentals of programming - by learning VARIABLES!
