Students are guided through an introduction to python programming by playing with code to understand how it works. This includes two lessons (≈60 minutes each) which include an inquiry approach to:
- variables, numbers, strings
- print( ), input( ) commands
- if, elif, else statements; ‘=’ vs ‘==’
- adding comments to code
- and, or logic
- two challenges / question (with access to guided solutions) which allow students to practice their learning
This is a Google Colaboratory activity - do the coding within your google suite!
